1. Who we are
ArcVault Cards is the trading name of Aditya Dalvi, sole trader, trading from 13 Albany Court, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, MK14 6DN, United Kingdom. Email: enquiry@arcvaultcards.co.uk. Telephone: +44 7733 027870. VAT registration number: 526 9604 69.
ArcVault Cards is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and related marks belong to their respective owners.
2. Products, availability and pricing
We sell genuine trading-card products and related items. Product descriptions, condition information and images are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Packaging artwork and minor manufacturing presentation may vary.
Products marked Awaiting Stock are catalogue previews only and cannot be purchased until stock and availability are confirmed. Displayed catalogue prices may be updated before a product becomes available to purchase. A product shown as available may still become unavailable before we accept an order, for example because of a stock-sync or inventory error.
Consumer prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before payment. We may correct obvious pricing or listing errors. If an obvious error affects an order before acceptance, we will contact you and either ask you to confirm the corrected order or cancel and refund the payment.
3. Placing an order and when a contract is formed
The checkout process lets you review your basket, delivery charge and total before you pay. By selecting the final payment action in Stripe, you are placing an order and agreeing to pay the amount shown.
After successful payment, we send an order-received confirmation. This acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not by itself mean we have accepted it. The contract between you and ArcVault Cards is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly accept the order earlier.
If we cannot accept an order, for example because stock is unavailable, there is a material listing error or we cannot fulfil the order, we will tell you and refund any amount taken for the affected goods.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. ArcVault Cards does not store your full payment-card number or card security code. Your card may be charged when you place the order even though acceptance occurs later; if we cannot accept the order, the relevant payment will be refunded.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom unless a product or checkout option clearly states otherwise. Delivery methods, charges and estimates are shown before payment. We aim to dispatch in-stock orders by the next working day where practical, but this is a dispatch target rather than a guaranteed delivery date.
Unless we agree a different period with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is entered into. Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person you identify to receive them, takes physical possession.
See our Delivery Policy for further details.
6. Cancellation, change-of-mind returns and refunds
For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason by telling us within 14 days after the goods are delivered. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back. These rights are subject to any statutory exceptions that apply to a particular product.
You may start a return through your ArcVault account once the order is marked completed, or contact us directly by email. The account button is provided for convenience and does not limit any statutory right you may have to contact us another way.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise. We will refund the basic standard-delivery charge you paid for the original order where the law requires it; any extra amount paid for a premium delivery option is not refundable beyond the standard-delivery amount.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods and causes loss of value, we may make a lawful deduction for that diminished value. Opening sealed trading-card packs or sealed collectible products can materially reduce their value, so any deduction will be assessed on the circumstances and your statutory rights.
See our Returns & Refunds Policy for the full process and model cancellation form.
7. Faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect goods
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where relevant and as described. If goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, misdescribed or the wrong item has been supplied, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to reject the goods, receive a refund, or obtain another statutory remedy.
Where goods are returned because they are faulty, misdescribed or incorrect, ArcVault Cards will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
8. Our responsibility to consumers
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
9. Governing law, complaints and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections available to you and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first at enquiry@arcvaultcards.co.uk so we can try to resolve it promptly.
